The French Riviera in the heart of Jardins — a proprietary brand consolidated as a São Paulo destination.
In December 2020, on the same day as the opening of Shops Jardins, Roi Méditerranée began. Not another French restaurant in São Paulo — an authored translation of the French Riviera into the Brazilian register: the light, the lightness, the ritual of the long lunch, the table that blends with the garden. A proprietary brand of Incora Brands, in partnership with Fábio and Eduarda Dupin.
The choice of address — the rooftop of Shops Jardins — was strategic. A territory where gastronomy lives alongside the great international maisons of fashion and beauty, and where a cultural void was waiting to be filled between the repertoire of the neighboring brands and the European ritual of hospitality.
The thesis was to build a destination, not just a restaurant. A place where time moves differently — Mediterranean on the palate, in the light, in the service and in the behavior. The kitchen works with seafood, fresh vegetables, single-origin olive oils, herbs and citrus. The setting — wooden slats, dried foliage and the iconic jabuticabeira tree with a swing in front — mirrors the Côte d'Azur landscape without caricature. The Le Dessert du Roi, chantilly with strawberries, white chocolate shavings, meringues and red-fruit coulis, became the house's signature.
Roi positioned itself from the start as a cultural brand before commerce. In March 2023, it hosted the Brazilian launch of Lillet Rosé by Pernod Ricard — confirming the place it had earned: when a French brand needs a French address in São Paulo, Roi is the natural choice.
Incora Brands operates Roi as a proprietary brand, in partnership with the Dupins — leading creative direction, experience curation, positioning and institutional communication. Lucas Albuquerque acts as founding partner and creative director, articulating every brand touchpoint.
